Mesa Air Group posts $1.37 million of operating income for February

Pittsburgh, April 5 - Mesa Air Group, Inc. reported $1.37 million of operating income for February on $65.92 million in total revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
In comparison, the company posted $2.16 million of operating income for the period of Jan. 5 to Jan. 31 on $61.87 million in total revenues.
The net loss for February was $246,000, declining from $542,000 in net income for the January period.
Mesa had $78.71 million in cash and cash equivalents at Feb. 28, up from $67.47 million at the end of January.
Mesa Air, a Phoenix-based provider of passenger and airfreight services, filed for bankruptcy on Jan. 5 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. The Chapter 11 case number is 10-10018.
