Meridian announces plans to raise $5 million through private placement

Knoxville, Tenn., March 31 - Meridian Co., Ltd. said it has agreed to raise $5 million in a private placement.

The company plans to raise $1 million initially, then an additional $4 million within six months.

Based in Vancouver, B.C., Meridian researches, develops, manufactures and sells advanced medical devices.
