Mercer Funds' class S and class Y shares get new management

By Toni Weeks

San Diego, Oct. 21 - Mercer Funds said it has changed the management for its class S and class Y shares, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Eaton Vance Management is no longer associated with the class S and class Y shares of Mercer Funds.

In addition, the new subadviser for the class S and Y shares of the Mercer U.S. Large Cap Value Equity Fund is Philadelphia-based Brandywine Global Investment Management, LLC.

Brandywine's allocated portion of the portfolio is managed by Patrick Kaser and James Clarke, both portfolio managers and co-leads of the Large Cap Value Equity Team.

Kaser joined Brandywine in 1998 and is responsible for researching the financial and health care sectors.

Clarke rejoined the firm in 2008. Previously he was a founding partner of Clarke Bennitt LLC.

Both began managing the fund in October.
