S&P affirms Mendoza
Standard & Poor's said that it affirmed the Province of Mendoza's B foreign-and local-currency credit ratings.
The outlook is stable.
The rating reflects the high risk inherent to the Republic of Argentina, including high inflation, a low level of investments and lack of predictability in the direction of economic policies. The province's weak liquidity position, moderate debt burden and limited fiscal flexibility also constrain the rating, the agency said.
A management that compares favorably with the Argentinean standards and a stable political environment somewhat offset the risks, S&P said.
