Province of Mendoza extends offer to trade notes due 2024 to June 26

Columbus, Ohio, June 15 – Argentina’s Province of Mendoza extended the expiry of its offer to exchange its $590 million 8 3/8% notes due 2024 for new notes to be issued by the province, according to a news release on Monday.

The offer will now expire at 9 a.m. ET on June 26, pushed back from 9 a.m. ET on June 16.

The new settlement date is expected to be July 1.

The province said the purpose of the invitation is to achieve a sustainable debt profile.
