MediCor disclosure hearing pushed back to April 1

By Jennifer Lanning Drey

Portland, Ore., Jan. 29 - MediCor Ltd.'s disclosure hearing for its plan of liquidation was adjourned to April 1 by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware, according to a source familiar with the case.

The company asked that the hearing be delayed because confirmation of its plan of liquidation is conditioned on a settlement that still requires approval from the state and district courts in Nevada, the source said.

The hearing was originally scheduled for Jan. 29.

MediCor, a North Las Vegas, Nev., health care company that makes and sells products for the aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery and dermatology markets, filed for bankruptcy on June 29, 2007. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-10877.
