MediCor unsecured creditors committee reappointed following resignation

Pittsburgh, Dec. 28 - MediCor Ltd.'s U.S. Trustee appointed an amended official committee of unsecured creditors for the company's Chapter 11 case after one member resigned from the committee, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

According to the filing, Larry L. Bertsch, the receiver for Southwest Exchange, Inc., resigned from the committee.

The committee is now comprised of Dale L. Hein of Merrill Communications LLC, St. Paul, Minn.; Harry A. Springer for Aesthetic Surgery, Wilmette, Ill.; Paul-Andre de Lame of Anabase International Corp., Lambertville, N.J.; and Jon Sorrell for the Jon and Marie Sorrell Trust, Santa Barbara, Calif.

MediCor, a North Las Vegas, Nev., health care company that makes and sells products for the aesthetic, plastic and reconstructive surgery and dermatology markets, filed for bankruptcy on June 29, 2007. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-10877.
