New York, March 8 - Aon plc reopened its issue of 4.25% global notes due 2042 to add $90 million, according to an 8-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The sale was done under Rule 144A and Regulation S. The notes are guaranteed by Aon Corp.
The total amount outstanding is now $255.946 million, including $165.946 million issued on Dec. 12, 2012 as part of an exchange offer for the company's junior subordinated notes.
The bookrunners was Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC.
The risk management, insurance and consulting company is based in Chicago.
