Medical Center Educational Building, Miss., to sell $50 million bonds

New York, June 4 - The Medical Center Educational Building Corp. of Mississippi plans to price $50 million in series 2010 revenue bonds, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes $19.325 million in series 2010A Build America Bonds, $20 million in series 2010B economic recovery zone revenue bonds and $10.675 million in series 2010C revenue bonds.

The bonds (/AA-/) will be sold through senior manager Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc.

The 2010A bonds are due 2030 and 2032. The 2010B bonds are due 2035, and the 2010C bonds are due 2011 to 2025.

Proceeds will be used to fund the expansion and renovation of the University of Mississippi Medical Center facilities.

The corporation, which is based in Jackson, Miss., acquires and operates higher educational medical facilities.
