Russia's MDM Bank to sell $200 million one-year notes this week via Goldman Sachs

By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Feb. 7 - Russia's MDM Bank (Ba2/B+/BB-) is expected to place a $200 million offering of one-year notes this week, according to a market source.

Goldman Sachs & Co. has the books.

In early December MDM Bank priced an upsized $250 million issue of two-year eurobonds at par to yield 7¾%, or 312 basis points over Treasuries.

The prospective issuer is a provider of corporate, investment and retail banking services.
