Antisoma starts level one ADR program

By Jennifer Chiou

New York, Dec. 6 - Antisoma plc announced the launch of its level one American Depositary Receipt program.

The program will allow U.S. investors in Antisoma to trade a dollar-denominated security.

"The ADR program will enhance the trading options for our existing U.S. investors and increase our access to the U.S. capital markets as we work towards a full listing of our shares on Nasdaq," chief financial officer Raymond Spencer said in a news release.

The Bank of New York is the depositary bank.

Each Antisoma ADR, which will trade under the symbol "ATSMY," represents 20 Antisoma shares traded on the London Stock Exchange.

London-based Antisoma is a biopharmaceutical company focused on cancer.
