MAXjet unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Jan. 7 - MAXjet Airways, Inc.'s U.S. Trustee appointed the official committee of unsecured creditors for the company's Chapter 11 case, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee members include Andrew John Wilson of Mezzo Movies Ltd., London; Gary Morgan of Servisair UK Ltd., Manchester, U.K.; Joseph M. Vann and Ira R. Abel, representing Israel Aerospace Industries Ltd., New York; Judith B. Kassel of ICF International, Fairfax, Va.; and Christopher Rocheron, representative of WARN Act Claimants, New York.

MAXjet is an all business class airline based in Dulles, Va. The company filed for bankruptcy on Dec. 24. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-11912.
