Massachusetts HEFA defeases $76.89 million Worcester City Campus bonds

Madison, Wis., July 3 – Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority said it defeased on Thursday $76.89 million of its University of Massachusetts Project 2005 series D revenue bonds, Worcester City Campus Corp. issue.

The defeased bonds will be redeemed on Oct. 1 at par plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The authority originally issued $99,325,000 of the 2005D bonds.

Bank of New York Mellon Trust Co. NA is the trustee.
