Moody's raises Tufts University bonds to Aa2

Moody's Investors Service said it upgraded Tufts University's long-term rating to Aa2 from Aa3 and assigned the Aa2 rating to $59.8 million of series M (2008) fixed-rate bonds that are to be issued through Massachusetts Health and Educational Facilities Authority.

Including the current offering, about $333 million of debt was affected by the upgrade.

The outlook is stable.
