Massachusetts coordinates $159.34 million of Sifma index G.O. bonds

New York, Jan. 22 - The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is set to price $153,335,000 of series 2014 Sifma index general obligation refunding bonds on Tuesday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The bonds will be sold competitively.

The deal includes $75 million of series 2014A bonds and $84,335,000 of series 2014B bonds.

The 2014A bonds are due in 2015, and the 2014B bonds are due in 2016.

Proceeds will be used to refund the commonwealth's series 2010A, 2011A and 2012A G.O. refunding bonds.
