Johns Hopkins Health System, Md., announces plans for refunding bonds

By Sheri Kasprzak

New York, March 3 – The Maryland Health and Higher Educational Facilities Authority said Tuesday it could hit the market with refunding bonds.

The authority hopes to come to market with bonds to refund its series 2005A-B revenue bonds issued for the Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions and its 2008B revenue bonds issued for the Johns Hopkins Health System Obligated Group, said a Maryland Health statement.

Market conditions and other factors may impact the timing and the issuance of the bonds.
