Maryland DoT defeases series 2008 consolidated transportation bonds

Norfolk, Va., June 19 – The Maryland Department of Transportation defeased its series 2008 and second series 2008 consolidated transportation bonds, according to two notices.

The following 2008 bonds will be redeemed on Feb. 15, 2018:

• $18 million of bonds due Feb. 15, 2019;

• $22.5 million of bonds due Feb. 15, 2020;

• $24.75 million of bonds due Feb. 15, 2021;

• $27 million of bonds due Feb. 15, 2022; and

• $31,005,000 of bonds due Feb. 15, 2023.

The following second series 2008 bonds will be redeemed on Sept. 1, 2018:

• $33.6 million of bonds due Sept. 1, 2022; and

• $36.4 million of bonds due Sept. 1, 2023.
