Moody's rates Maryland's consolidated transportation bonds Aa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned an Aa2 rating to Maryland Department of Transportation's consolidated transportation bonds, series 2008, at the same time affirming the Aa2 rating on the state's $1.1 billion of outstanding consolidated transportation bonds.

The outlook is stable.
