Fitch puts Aircastle watch to positive

Fitch Ratings said it revised Aircastle Ltd.’s rating watch status to positive from evolving. The change follows Fitch getting more information on the expected ownership composition and credit risk profile of the ownership group acquiring Aircastle.

Marubeni and Mizuho Leasing are acquiring the company with Marubeni owning about a 75% stake, the agency said.

Fitch sees classifying Aircastle as a strategically important unit of Marubeni.
