Singapore’s Mapletree plans to sell yen-denominated notes in two parts

Chicago, March 15 – Mapletree Logistics Trust Management Ltd., through its wholly owned subsidiary MapletreeLog Treasury Co. Pte. Ltd., plans to issue a two-part offering of yen-denominated notes, according to an announcement on Monday.

The offering will include a tranche of ¥6 billion of 0.9% notes due 2030 and a second tranche of ¥3.5 billion of 0.9% notes due 2030.

The notes are being issued under the company’s S$3 billion euro medium-term securities program.

The notes will be guaranteed by trustee HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Ltd.

Mizuho Securities Asia Ltd. and DBS Bank Ltd. are issuers of the series 002 notes and series 003 notes.

Proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including refinancing existing borrowings.

Mapletree Logistics is a Singapore-based logistics real estate investment trust.
