Knoxville, Tenn., June 7 - Maple Energy plc said it will raise £18.95 million in a private placement of shares.
The company will sell 43,075,000 ordinary shares at 44p each.
Mirabaud Securities LLP and Jefferies International Ltd. are the joint bookrunners.
Maple plans to use the proceeds to fund a portion of its remaining equity contribution requirement in connection with its ethanol project.
Dublin-based Maple Energy is an independent energy company with operations in Peru.
