DBRS assigns BBB to Manitoba Telecom MTNs

DBRS said it assigned a rating of BBB to Manitoba Telecom Services Inc.'s C$200 million issuance of 4.59% medium-term notes due Oct. 1, 2018. The trend is stable.

DBRS expects MTS to use the proceeds from this issue for general corporate purposes, including refinancing of debt maturities.
