Manatee County, Fla., to sell $50 million short-term notes Thursday

New York, Aug. 1 - Manatee County, Fla., is scheduled to price $50 million of series 2011 tax anticipation notes on Thursday, according to a preliminary official statement.

The notes will be sold competitively with Public Financial Management Inc. as the financial adviser.

The notes are due May 1, 2012.

Proceeds will be used to finance capital requirements ahead of the collection of budgeted revenues.
