Majestic Star posts $342,542 operating loss for February

Savannah, Ga., April 1 - Majestic Star Casino, LLC reported a $342,542 operating loss for February on $8.78 million in net revenues, according to its monthly operating report filed March 31 with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The net loss for February was $3.03 million.

Majestic Star had $31.79 million in cash at Feb. 28, up from $27.74 million at the beginning of the month.

Majestic Star, a Las Vegas-based owner and operator of casino hotels, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 23, 2009. Its Chapter 11 case number is 09-14136.
