S&P rates Anne Arundel, Md., G.O. BANs A-1+

Standard & Poor's said it assigned its A-1+ short-term rating to Anne Arundel County, Md.'s series 2008A and 2008B general obligation bond anticipation notes (BANs) issued in the form of commercial paper.

The $66.8 million of BANs are due May 22, 2009.
