Fitch rates Maine bonds AAA

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an AAA rating to the Maine Municipal Bond Bank's $52.2 million of 2008 series A and B bonds.

Sale of the bonds is expected by negotiation during the week of April 14.

Fitch also said it affirmed the AAA ratings on about $933 million of the bond bank's outstanding general tax-exempt fund group bonds.

The outlook is stable.
