Fitch rates Maine G.O. bonds AA

Fitch Ratings said it assigned a rating of AA to $102.7 million State of Maine general obligation bonds expected by negotiation the week of May 19. The bonds are due May 15, 2009-2018.

Fitch also affirmed the rating on $369.9 million outstanding state G.O. bonds at AA.

The outlook is stable.
