Malaysia's Magnum cancels plans for RM 800 million MTN, CP offerings

Knoxville, Tenn., Aug. 12 - Magnum Corp. Bhd. said it will not proceed with plans for a commercial paper program for up to RM 800 million and a medium-term note program for up to RM 800 million. The programs were announced in August 2007.

The company said it notified RAM Rating Services Bhd. of its decision not to proceed with the issuances on June 19.

Magnum manages and operates various services through its subsidiaries and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
