Malaysia's Magnum plans MTN, CP programs for up to RM 800 million each

Chicago, Aug. 8 - Magnum Corp. Bhd. said it is planning a commercial paper program for up to RM 800 million and a medium-term note program for up to RM 800 million.

The RM 800 million commercial paper program will run for seven years from the date of first issue, and the RM 800 million MTN will run for 15 years.

The total outstanding nominal value of the CPs and the MTNs issued under the programs cannot exceed RM 800 million at any point, according to a press release.

CIMB is principal adviser, lead arranger, lead manager and facility agent.

Proceeds will be used for working capital, acquisitions or investment.

Magnum manages and operates various services through its subsidiaries and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
