Fuddruckers' parent looks to change names following asset sale

Pittsburgh, July 30 - Magic Brands, LLC requested court approval to change its name and the name of its Fuddruckers, Inc. subsidiary, according to a Friday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Magic Brands wants to change its name to Deel, LLC and Fuddruckers' name to Brosna, Inc.

The name changes are required under the company's asset sale, which closed on July 26.

A hearing is scheduled for Aug. 25.

Magic Brands filed for bankruptcy on April 21 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Its case number is 10-11310.
