Lucas Energy files $10 million shelf covering debt, stock, preferreds

Knoxville, Tenn., March 8 - Lucas Energy, Inc. filed a $10 million shelf registration in an S-3 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The registration covers common stock, preferred stock, debt securities, warrants and units.

The securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will be used for acquisitions, debt repayment or redemption and general corporate purposes.

Houston-based Lucas is an oil and natural gas exploration and development company.
