Anglo American Capital launches $1.35 billion of five-, 10-year notes

New York, Sept. 20 - Anglo American Capital plc is pricing $1.35 billion of notes (Baa1/BBB+/) in tranches due 2017 and 2022, a market source said on Thursday.

A $750 million tranche of five-year notes launched at 195 basis points over Treasuries.

There is also $600 million of 10-year notes to be priced at 245 bps over Treasuries.

The notes will be sold under Rule 144A and Regulation S.

Barclays, Goldman Sachs & Co. and UBS Securities LLC are bookrunners.

The financing arm of mining company Anglo American plc is based in London.
