Loral equity committee gets more time to file objection, disclosure statement hearing pushed back

Pittsburgh, May 10 - Loral Space & Communications Ltd.'s official committee of equity security holders received an extension to its deadline for filing an objection to the company's disclosure statement, according to an order filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The committee has until May 25 to file its objection.

The hearing on the disclosure statement was rescheduled to June 1 from May 10.

Loral filed for bankruptcy on July 15, 2003. Its Chapter 11 case number is 03-41710.
