Loral Space shareholder group buys more shares, lifts stake to 40.1%

Charlotte, N.C., March 20 - Loral Space & Communications Inc. investors led by MHR Advisors LLC bought 138,332 shares of the company's stock on March 19 for $16.00 each, according to a schedule 13D/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors beneficially own a total of 8,132,350 shares, or 40.1%, of the New York satellite communications company.
