Media Nusantara Citra extends tender offer for Linktone

Charlotte, N.C., Feb. 28 - PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk extended its tender offer for Linktone Ltd. to midnight ET on March 26 from March 12.

MNC International Ltd., a Media Nusantara Citra subsidiary, began the offer on Feb. 6 for up to 6 million American Depositary Shares of Linktone priced at $3.80 cash per ADS.

Each ADS represents 10 ordinary shares, according to a company news release.

Linktone's board of directors approved the companies' amended Nov. 28 acquisition agreement and recommended shareholders tender their ADSs or ordinary shares in the offer.

Media Nusantara Citra, an integrated media company based in Jakarta, Indonesia, said it will finance the purchase using its available cash and cash equivalents.

Linktone is a wireless interactive entertainment services provide located in Shanghai.
