Link Theory to call ¥13.2 billion 0% convertibles if amendment passes

By Angela McDaniels

Tacoma, Wash., March 30 - Link Theory Holdings Co., Ltd. will call its ¥13.2 billion zero-coupon convertible bonds due 2018 at 104% of par no later than May 29 if it receives bondholder approval to amend the terms of the convertibles, according to a company news release.

As previously reported, the company will hold a meeting of bondholders on April 6. It is seeking to amend the convertibles so that it can redeem them at 104% of par between the meeting date and Aug. 31.

The convertibles are putable at par on May 12.

The company said that if the amendment is approved at the meeting, it will also allow bondholders to withdraw any put options previously exercised for May 12 as long as the request is received by April 20.

Link Theory is a Tokyo-based fashion retailer.
