Linens 'n Things unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, May 12 - Linens 'n Things, Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed by the U.S. Trustee, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

The committee members include Timothy E. Cropper of The CIT Group/Commercial Services Inc., Charlotte, N.C.; Daniel Frangis of Croscill Inc., Durham, N.C.; Robert T. Marcello and Michael B. Nulman Sr. of CVS Pharmacy, Inc., Woonsocket, R.I.; Edward C. Roels of M. Block and Sons, Inc., Bedford Park, Ill.; Flavio R. Barbosa of Springs Global US, Inc., Fort Mill, S.C.; James A. Perley of The Yankee Candle Co. Inc., South Deerfield, Mass.; and Ronald M. Tucker of Simon Property Group, Inc., Indianapolis.

Linens 'n Things, a Clifton, N.J., home furnishings specialty retailer, filed for bankruptcy on May 2. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-10832.
