Lilis Energy’s five-member unsecured creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, July 15 – Lilis Energy, Inc.’s official committee of unsecured creditors was appointed Tuesday by acting U.S. Trustee Henry G. Hobbs Jr., according to a notice filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

The committee members are Ben Beckham of SCM Water, LLC and SCM Crude, LLC of Houston; Rusty Terrell of Culberson Construction, LLC of Grandbury, Tex.; Craig Nelson of Clearpoint Chemicals LLC of Fairhope, Ala.; Kara Griffith of Newpark Resources, Inc. of The Woodlands, Tex.; and Randy Friedsam of Select Energy Services of Houston.

Lilis is a Fort Worth-based independent oil and gas exploration and production company that operates in the Permian’s Delaware Basin. The company filed bankruptcy on June 28 under Chapter 11 case number 20-33274.
