Life Sciences Research NYSE listing postponed

New York, Sept. 7 - Life Sciences Research, Inc. announced its listing on the New York Stock Exchange has been postponed at the request of the NYSE, which approved its application on Aug. 22.

Life Sciences was to begin trading on Sept. 7 under the ticker symbol "LSR."

In the meantime, the company will continue to trade on the Nasdaq over-the-counter bulletin board under "LSRI."

Based in East Millstone, N.J., the company operates as a contract research organization that tests for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, agrochemical and industrial chemical companies through its subsidiaries.

The company's objective is to identify risks to humans, animals or the environment from the use or manufacture of chemicals.
