By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, March 23 – Life Care St. Johns, Inc. asked the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Florida to close its Chapter 11 case that was filed in 2013, and the company is expected to file a new Chapter 11 case to complete the sale of its Glenmoor facility in St. Johns County, Fla., according to a notice from Glenmoor Project health care refunding revenue bond trustee UMB Bank, NA.

The trustee said all documents related to the proposed transaction are expected to be filed with the court in 10 to 14 days.

As previously reported, the Chapter 11 plan from St. Augustine, Fla.-based Life Care’s 2013 bankruptcy case took effect on April 16, 2014.
