Liberty Star Uranium seals $50,000 private placement of equity units

Units of shares and warrants sold at $0.0333 apiece to single investor

Knoxville, Tenn., July 30 - Liberty Star Uranium & Metals Corp. completed a $50,000 private placement of units with a single investor on July 23, according to an 8-K filed Monday with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company sold 1,501,502 units of one common share and one warrant at $0.0333 per unit.

Each of the warrants is exercisable at $0.0466 until July 23, 2015. The strike price is a 16.5% premium to $0.04, the July 27 closing share price.

Located in Tucson, Liberty Star is a uranium exploration company.
