Liberty Medical wins exclusivity extension to finish marketing process

Pittsburgh, July 10 – Liberty Medical Supply, Inc. obtained an extension of its exclusive plan of reorganization filing and solicitation periods, according to a Thursday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Specifically, the company’s exclusive filing period was extended by 63 days through Aug. 15 from June 13 and its solicitation period through Nov. 4 from Sept. 2.

Liberty said the extension will allow it to complete its ongoing marketing process.

Liberty Medical, a Port St. Lucie, Fla.-based health-care products home delivery provider, filed for bankruptcy on Feb. 15, 2013. The Chapter 11 case number is 13-10262.
