By Caroline Salls

Pittsburgh, Oct. 6 - Lexington Precision Corp.'s hearing on approval of the disclosure statements for the plans of reorganization submitted by the company's official committee of unsecured creditors and its pre-bankruptcy secured lenders has been postponed indefinitely, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

The hearing was previously scheduled for Oct. 6.

In addition, the hearing on the lenders' request to allow Gordian Group to solicit bids for a potential sale of Lexington Precision was also postponed indefinitely.

Lexington Precision, a New York-based manufacturer of rubber and metal components for the automobile and medical devices industries, filed for bankruptcy on April 2, 2008. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-11153.
