Lexington Precision posts $486,000 July operating loss

Pittsburgh, Sept. 16 - Lexington Precision Corp. reported a $486,000 operating loss for July on $5.93 million in sales, according to its monthly operating report filed Monday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.

In comparison, the company posted a $509,000 operating loss in June on $6.52 million in sales.

The net loss for July was $1.13 million, narrowing slightly from a $1.15 million June net loss.

The company had $7.95 million in cash at July 31, down from $8.6 million at the end of June.

Lexington Precision, a New York-based manufacturer of rubber and metal components for the automobile and medical devices industries, filed for bankruptcy on April 2. Its Chapter 11 case number is 08-11153.
