Levitt and Sons official home deposit creditors committee appointed

Pittsburgh, Jan. 23 - Levitt and Sons LLC's U.S. Trustee has appointed the official committee of joint home purchase deposit creditors, according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.

The committee is comprised of Rene R. Dolbeau of Palm City, Fla.; Robert L. Hillyard of Cincinnati; Joseph P. D'Alessandro of Lawrenceville, Ga.; Patricia Johnsen of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; Robert Licker of Cape Coral, Fla.; Donna Kondo of Germantown, Md.; and Keith P. Bell of Jasper, Ga.

The home deposit creditors hold unsecured claims against Levitt and Sons.

Levitt and Sons, a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based homebuilding subsidiary of Levitt Corp., filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 9. Its Chapter 11 case number is 07-19845.
