Level 3 plans to redeem all 11 7/8% senior notes due 2019 on Dec. 31

Norfolk, Va., Dec. 1 – Level 3 Communications, Inc. plans to redeem all of its 11 7/8% senior notes due 2019 on Dec. 31, according to a news release.
The redemption will be funded with the proceeds from a new senior note offering and cash on hand.
Level 3 is a Broomfield, Colo.-based fiber-based communications services.
