Lehman Brothers files automatic shelf

New York, May 30 - Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. filed an automatic shelf registration in an S-3ASR with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Covered by the shelf are debt securities, warrants, purchase contracts, preferred stock, depositary shares, common shares and units. Securities may be structured as convertibles.

Proceeds will go toward general corporate purposes.

Based in New York, Lehman Brothers and its subsidiaries provide financial services for corporations, governments and municipalities.
