Legg Mason's Value Trust changes portfolio management; Peters remains

San Diego, Nov. 18 - Legg Mason Capital Management Value Trust, Inc. has modified its portfolio management team, according to a 497 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Effective April 30, 2012, Bill Miller will no longer be a portfolio manager for the trust. Sam Peters will remain a portfolio manager and has managed the fund since Nov. 2010. Mary Chris Gay remains as assistant portfolio manager.
The fund's investment manager is Baltimore-based Legg Mason Capital Management, LLC.
