Laredo Resources arranges $2.5 million private placement of securities

Funds to be used for exploration and development of Pony Mountain Gold

Knoxville, Tenn., May 1 - Laredo Resources Corp. said it will conduct a $2.5 million brokered private placement on a best efforts basis.

Proceeds will be used for the exploration and development of the company's planned acquisition of Pony Mountain Gold.

The gold explorer is based in Vancouver, B.C.
