Laredo, Texas, to price $78.03 million certificates of obligation Tuesday

New York, May 16 - Laredo, Texas, plans to sell $78.03 million in series 2008A and 2008B toll bridge tax combination tax and revenue certificates of obligation on Tuesday, according to a calendar of offerings.

The bonds (A1//A+) will be sold on a negotiated basis with Citigroup Global Markets as the lead manager.

The offering includes $30.72 million in series 2008A bonds and $47.31 million in series 2008B bonds.

The bonds are due 2009 to 2033.

Proceeds from the sale will be used to expand the city's world trade bridge inspection station.
